Laura M. Staunton

Laura M. Staunton, admitted to practice in New York, joined Downing & Peck, P.C. as an Associate in 2020. She is experienced in handling personal injury litigation involving Labor Law, premises liability, automobile, and trucking disputes; and commercial and bankruptcy matters. Ms. Staunton completed her legal studies at the National University of Ireland, Galway, including one year at Grande Ecole, Institut D’Etudes Politiques d’Aix-en-Provence, France where she studied Law in both French and English. Ms. Staunton previously worked in a Manhattan law firm on commercial matters, and the Legal Affairs Department with the Irish public service broadcaster, Raidio Teilifis Eireann.
